From Joke to Juggernaut: How PASTERNAK Became $LAUNCHCOIN and Hit $280M

LAUNCHCOIN, formerly PASTERNAK, went from a 99% crash and meme status to a $280M market cap. Held and accumulated by a few true believers during its sub-$1M lows, it’s now the hottest project in crypto. The story underscores the power of conviction, community, and narrative.

let me tell you a true story:

the hottest crypto project of the last 24 - 48 hours is called 'LAUNCHCOIN'

it launched several months ago under the name 'PASTERNAK'

i remember getting in early, around a $28 million market cap, thanks to @traderpow calling it in the trenches (h/t to the chad for absolutely cooking on this trade 🫡)

when it first launched months ago, PASTERNAK ran hard from almost nothing to a $48 million market cap in just a few days, generating thousands of percent in gains for early buyers

shortly after, however, it experienced a 99% crash due to a series of issues and dropped to a sub-$500k market cap, where it ranged for months

as a result, sentiment around PASTERNAK was so bad in the trenches that it became the butt of jokes in multiple group chats

i remember considering buying the dip several times around $300k market cap, thinking, 'it's insanely cheap to get several percent of the supply here... I might as well take a chance'

while i held my original position, I never pulled the trigger to buy more at the bottom—largely because of how much the project was mocked (a deep regret in hindsight). at the time, it truly looked completely dead!

some people sold during the crash. some sold the bottom. others, like Pow, whom I tagged earlier, believed in the project’s spirit and held or accumulated heavily under $500k to $1 million market cap while it ranged for a long time

today, 'PASTERNAK' hit an ATH of $280 million market cap and has had the highest mindshare of all crypto projects in the last 24 hours

the lesson here is simple:

as long as the spirit of a project with strong fundamentals or a compelling narrative doesn’t die—and its core community keeps believing and pushing—it isn’t truly dead

while this isn't financial advice, i believe many crypto degens can learn something from what happened with PASTERNAK

whenever you take a trade, make sure to have your own conviction—because one of the biggest mistakes you can make with long-term plays is trading on borrowed conviction

now, I know it’s been a rollercoaster in the LetsBONKfun trenches over the last 24 hours, but my conviction has never wavered

my sentiments mirror what happened with PASTERNAK—a short-term rough patch on the road to ultimate glory

the almost unbelievable growth LetsBONKfun has witnessed over the past week makes one thing clear: this platform is here to stay and, God willing, will become even more dominant. you can be damn sure that many of its top plays will reprice accordingly

a few days ago, i promised to buy and engage with some of the most exciting projects created on LetsBONKfun—and to shout out the ones I like most

i am a man of my word

i've spent six figures accumulating several LetsBONKfun tokens over the past few days and doubled down on dips

while some may get lost in the 'Bonk Guy is buying' hype and think i’m only here for short-term plays, the truth is: I have a clear thesis for every single project I buy

and I believe many of them have a high probability of hitting incredible valuations

The Fed’s Liquidity Mirage: Why QT Isn’t Over and QE Isn’t Coming Yet

Many believe QE has started again, but the truth is more complex. QT continues until Dec 2025, the $50 B “injection” was a temporary repo loan, and history shows QE only begins after a true liquidity crisis. The cracks are forming—but the real storm hasn’t hit yet.
