Binance Launches Unified Account with Tiered Negative Balance Threshold and Interest Charges

On May 9th, as per the official announcement, commencing from 08:00 on May 17, 2025 (in UTC+8 time zone), Binance Unified Account will implement a tiered negative balance threshold for different assets according to the user's VIP level. If a user's Unified Account has a negative balance that goes beyond the negative balance threshold, the user will be charged interest fees on a daily basis at 08:00 (in UTC+8 time zone) based on the Unified Account's negative balance. The interest fee is calculated according to the Binance Leverage Daily Interest Rate.
