CITIC Securities: Stablecoin Benefits RWA, Focuses on Digital Currency Settlement Progress

On June 3rd, a research report by CITIC Securities stated that recently both Hong Kong and the United States have made certain progress in the legislative process of stablecoin-related bills. Stablecoins can offer a transaction method with stable value for RWA tokenized assets, enhance market liquidity, and contribute to promoting the RWA issuance projects of Mainland Chinese companies in Hong Kong. Meanwhile, the stablecoin bills are anticipated to indirectly promote the development of digital currency-related payment and settlement interfaces within the Hong Kong financial industry. Financial IT companies with experience in digital currency/digital RMB cross-border settlement and supply chain finance projects are expected to gain benefits. (FX168)
