California Appeals Court Ruling on Trump Administration's Tariff Policy Unlawful

On June 5th. Local time on June 2nd, California Attorney General Xavier Becerra announced that he has filed an appeal regarding the most recent ruling by the Federal Court in the Northern District of California in California's lawsuit against the Trump administration's tariff policy. Previously, on April 16th, on behalf of the state government and Governor Gavin Newsom, California filed a lawsuit in the Federal Court in the Northern District of California, accusing the federal government of illegally implementing a so-called "tariffs in retaliation" policy under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act and claiming that this action had harmed the interests of states, consumers, and businesses. California was also the first state to sue the Trump administration over tariffs. On the 2nd, the Federal Court in the Northern District of California rejected California's government's lawsuit. Becerra then issued a statement saying that the California government plans to immediately appeal to the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco. The California government's move is intended to use the ruling of the appeals court to establish the jurisdiction of the Federal Court in the Northern District of California over this lawsuit. With this payment, the trader purchased 61,000 Ethereum call options that are set to expire at the end of June. The strike prices of these options are $3200 and $3400. In theory, when buying the $3200 call option, it is a bet that the Ethereum price will rise from the current $2460 to above $3200 by the end of the month. And by buying the $3400 call option, it indicates an expectation that the price will exceed that level. In other words, the trader foresees a price increase of more than 30% in Ethereum within three weeks. Call options grant the buyer the right (but not the obligation) to purchase the underlying asset in the future at a predetermined price. Call option buyers generally hold a bullish view of the market and pay a premium to obtain asymmetric upside benefits. In this case, the $2 million premium represents th
