On August 7th, as per official documents, Cboe BZX has submitted an application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The application is to incorporate the Ethereum staking feature into the approved VanEck Ethereum ETF. According to the document, the sponsor of the fund has the option to stake either all or a portion of the Ethereum held by the fund by engaging one or more trusted staking service providers. The staking rewards obtained will be regarded as a part of the fund's income.
