US publicly traded company Fundamental Global has announced that it has allocated the full $200 million of its private placement net proceeds to purchase ETH.

On August 11th, Fundamental Global Inc (NASDAQ: FGNX, FGNXP) declared the official commencement of the acquisition of Ethereum (ETH) today. The aim is to become one of the largest ETH reserve holding companies in the world. As of 6:30 PM Eastern Time on August 10, 2025, the company currently possesses 47,331 ETH, with the ETH price being $4,228.40 per ETH (based on Bloomberg data). FG Nexus has utilized all the net proceeds from the company's announced $200 million private placement financing to purchase ETH. FG Nexus intends to expedite the accumulation of ETH holdings and enhance the ETH yield per share. According to the company's ETH reserve holding strategy, the ETH yield has become a crucial indicator of value creation for FG Nexus shareholders. To boost the ETH yield, the company will engage in staking and re-staking as a strategic entry point into Ethereum-driven finance (including tokenizing real-world assets and stablecoin yields).
