Hyperliquid introduces HIP-3 Growth Mode, reducing the overall slippage by over 90%.

2025.11.19 16:48:20

On November 19th, Hyperliquid launched a new feature, enabling anyone to deploy a new market in an almost permissionless way. This enhances liquidity through ultra-low fees and incentivizes new liquidity providers to join. This upgrade, named HIP-3 Growth Mode, reduces the comprehensive taker fee for newly launched markets by more than 90%. Deployers can freely enable this mode for each asset without the need for approval and without centralized gatekeeping throughout. After the upgrade, the comprehensive taker fee will drop from the standard 0.045% to 0.0045% - 0.009%. Under the highest collateralization and trading volume tiers, fees can be further reduced to 0.00144% - 0.00288%, as announced officially. This upgrade aims to deepen liquidity, expand asset coverage, and strengthen Hyperliquid's position as a strong competitor to centralized exchanges with a lower entry barrier and transaction costs.

Bitcoin Triggers Weekly Oversold Signal for First Time Since June 2022

On February 5, Bitcoin fell below $71,000, triggering its first weekly RSI oversold signal since June 2022—currently at 29.21, per TradingView data. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is a widely used technical analysis indicator across stocks, futures, forex, and crypto. Developed by American technician J. Welles Wilder in 1978, it measures the speed and magnitude of price moves to identify overbought/oversold conditions and potential reversal or trend continuation signals. Typically, RSI below 30 signals oversold territory. An RSI oversold signal does not guarantee an absolute price bottom. In June 2022, Bitcoin dropped below $18,000 with an RSI of ~26.2. During the FTX flash crash in November 2022, Bitcoin plummeted to $15,600—but its RSI hit 31.4, marking a divergence from the June low (price hit a new low, but selling pressure eased).

If Ethereum falls below $2000, the mainstream CEX long liquidation pressure will reach 754 million.

On February 5, data from Coinglass shows that if Ethereum (ETH) falls below $2,000, the cumulative long liquidation intensity across major centralized exchanges (CEXs) will reach $754 million. Conversely, should ETH break above $2,200, the cumulative short liquidation intensity for these mainstream CEXs will hit $710 million. Note from BlockBeats: Liquidation charts do not display the exact number or value of contracts up for liquidation. Instead, the bars on these charts reflect the relative importance of each liquidation cluster compared to nearby clusters—i.e., "intensity." Put simply, the chart shows how strongly the underlying asset’s price will react when it hits a specific level. A taller "liquidation bar" means the price will see a more intense response due to a liquidity cascade at that price point.

If Bitcoin falls below $68,000, the mainstream CEX long liquidation volume will reach $616 million

As of February 5th, Coinglass data indicates that if Bitcoin drops below $68,000, the cumulative intensity of long liquidations across major centralized exchanges (CEX) will hit $6.16 billion. Conversely, if Bitcoin rises above $73,000, the cumulative intensity of short liquidations on major CEXs will reach $7.56 billion. BlockBeats Note: Liquidation charts do not display the exact number of contracts at risk of liquidation or the precise value of those contracts. Instead, the bars on these charts reflect how significant each liquidation cluster is compared to adjacent clusters—this is referred to as "intensity." As such, these charts illustrate how heavily a target price level will be impacted if Bitcoin reaches that threshold. A taller "liquidation bar" signals a more severe price reaction driven by a liquidity cascade.
