Jan. 13 (Reuters) - Traders boosted bets on Tuesday that the Federal Reserve may cut interest rates before Chair Jerome Powell’s term ends in May, after the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported core consumer prices rose less than expected. While a June rate cut remains the most likely outcome, the probability of a Fed rate cut in April jumped to about 42% from 38% prior to the data release, based on latest market pricing.
