Now it’s time to return to the negotiation table and strike a deal.” He added he will call Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu immediately to urge him: “Do not retaliate.” On Israel’s earlier airstrikes targeting southern Beirut’s outskirts, Trump stated, “I’m not happy about this.”
