「Photonics Stock Godfather」: NVIDIA's Rubin Architecture Upgrade to Watch Power Semiconductor Suppliers

2026.06.08 10:25:07

June 8: Rising U.S. stock star analyst KawzInvests (@KawzInvests) shared in an X post that NVIDIA’s Rubin Ultra AI rack power architecture will get an upgrade in 2027, switching from a 48V/54V system to an 800V DC setup. The semiconductor value per rack’s power system will surge from roughly $20,000 to $123,000—driven mainly by a power output jump from 225kW to 600kW, which will demand advanced materials like silicon carbide and gallium nitride. KawzInvests’ analysis notes this upgrade is designed to fix weight and efficiency problems with copper buses at high power levels, with incremental value flowing primarily to power semiconductor suppliers rather than NVIDIA or rack manufacturers. Potential beneficiary stocks include: IFX, MPWR, VICR, NVTS, STM, ON, TXN, ADI, POWI, DIOD, WOLF, AOSL. KawzInvests has 100,000 followers on X, and his tweets focus on AI infrastructure, optical communications, and small-cap growth stocks in these high-resilience sectors. He derives insights from supply chain positioning, order cues, partnerships, management changes, M&A prospects, and revaluation upside. His rise to fame came from going bullish on AAOI late last year when the stock traded at just $30—before it skyrocketed to above $220.

Jeff Bezos pushes for a redesign of streaming service Prime Video, focusing on artificial intelligence.

Four sources said Amazon (AMZN.O) founder and CEO Jeff Bezos has urged Prime Video chief Mike Hopkins to overhaul the streaming service, putting artificial intelligence at its core. The internal project, codenamed "Lighthouse", will showcase Amazon’s AI capabilities to over 200 million Prime Video consumers. Sources noted that "Lighthouse" is seen as one of Amazon’s key initiatives to boost its standing in the AI space. Additionally, other AI projects—such as years of upgrades to the Alexa voice assistant to deliver more natural conversational responses—have yielded mixed results and remain unprofitable to date. BitMEX announced it will officially shut down on September 23, has suspended new user registrations and initiated an orderly liquidation.

BitMEX announced it will officially shut down its trading platform at 04:00 UTC on September 23, 2026. Effective immediately, the platform has suspended all new user registrations. Following a strategic review of its business and the broader cryptocurrency industry, the board of BitMEX’s parent company HDR Global Trading Limited has decided to close the trading platform. BitMEX strongly advises all users to close their positions and withdraw funds as soon as possible. The platform will continue normal operations until the shutdown time, but starting at 04:00 UTC on August 26, 2026, it will implement risk restrictions: users will no longer be able to open new positions, only reduce existing ones. After that, BitMEX will gradually liquidate existing positions to ensure an orderly market exit; any positions not closed by the shutdown time will be forcibly liquidated immediately. The platform states it will not be liable for trading losses incurred due to users’ failure to close positions timely. Additionally, illiquid contracts will be settled in advance, with relevant users notified per standard practice. Post-shutdown, BitMEX will cease all trading services, retaining only asset custody functions. Users can still log in to view wallet balances and historical transaction records, and continue to withdraw assets. All BMEX staking has been unlocked, with related tokens returned to user accounts. For KYC-compliant users who have not withdrawn funds by the shutdown time, BitMEX will begin charging an account maintenance fee: the monthly fee will be the higher of $50 or a 1% annualized rate. If users continue to fail to withdraw funds long-term, the platform may further increase fees in the future, with advance notice provided.
