Binance: Alpha Blind Box Airdrop Now Open for Claiming, Points Threshold Set at 251 Points

According to official announcements, Binance Alpha’s mystery box airdrop is now live. The airdrop pool includes tokens from two projects: Orochi Network (ON) and Metaplex (MPLX). Users holding at least 251 Binance Alpha points can claim one token airdrop on the Alpha event page. After claiming, users will be assigned to different reward tiers and receive one of the following rewards: 315, 395, or 1125 ON tokens; 1038, 1298, or 3705 MPLX tokens. Rewards are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. If rewards are not fully distributed, the point threshold will automatically decrease by 5 points every 5 minutes. Claiming the airdrop consumes 15 Binance Alpha points. Users must confirm their claim on the Alpha event page within 24 hours; otherwise, the airdrop will be deemed forfeited.

According to Fortune, stablecoin payment infrastructure startup Velocity announced it has closed a $38 million Series A funding round. The round was led by crypto investment firm Dragonfly, with participation from Coinbase, Capital One Ventures, Wintermute and other investors. Velocity CEO Eric Queathem did not disclose the financing’s latest valuation. Founded in 2025, Velocity specializes in delivering stablecoin payment solutions for enterprises, payment service providers, fintech firms and financial institutions, enabling them to leverage USD-pegged tokens to optimize cross-border payments, fund settlements and capital management workflows. Currently, Velocity operates in the U.S., select European regions and Australia. Moving forward, the firm plans to use the new capital to apply for licenses, expand into Africa and Latin America, invest in building more secure asset custody infrastructure, and develop new features including stablecoin yield products.
