NOWPayments, in collaboration with BlockSec, has released a crypto payment security and compliance checklist covering 25 security control measures.

Crypto payment gateway provider NOWPayments has partnered with blockchain security firm BlockSec to jointly release the *Crypto Payment System Security and Technical Compliance Checklist*, aimed at helping enterprises enhance the security of their crypto payment systems. The checklist covers 9 core security and compliance categories, totaling 25 control measures, spanning areas including private key and wallet security, smart contract security, transaction verification and signing, identity and account management, domain security, on-chain monitoring and incident response, AML/CFT technical compliance, stablecoin freeze risk management, and continuous improvement. NOWPayments noted that key risks facing crypto payment systems include private key leaks, suspicious transactions, account takeovers, and stablecoin freezes. Given the irreversibility of on-chain transfers, enterprises need to establish more robust wallet management, transaction approval, and compliance monitoring mechanisms. Andy Zhou, co-founder of BlockSec, stated that many enterprises mistakenly treat crypto payments as traditional online payments. Since on-chain transactions cannot be reversed, weak key management, unvetted transaction authorizations, and insufficient compliance checks can all lead to permanent financial losses. The checklist is designed for enterprises to use during crypto payment deployment, vendor evaluation, and routine security reviews, helping security, operations, compliance, and product teams jointly identify risks and clarify accountability. NOWPayments currently supports over 350 cryptocurrencies and more than 30 stablecoins, offering crypto payment, automatic conversion, and settlement services for merchants, online platforms, and enterprises. BlockSec provides blockchain security services including smart contract audits, real-time security monitoring, attack defense, and on-chain investigations.

ETH/BTC exchange rate hits a 3-month high, with Ethereum rebounding in performance relative to Bitcoin.

ETH/BTC trading pair has recently risen to a nearly three-month high, signaling Ethereum’s improving performance relative to Bitcoin. The ETH/BTC exchange rate gauges Ethereum’s strength against Bitcoin, not its U.S. dollar-denominated performance. Data shows ETH/BTC fell by roughly 80% cumulatively between 2021 and 2025, staying in a long-term weak position. As ETH/BTC rebounds recently, the market is starting to focus on whether Ethereum is entering a recovery trend relative to Bitcoin. Analysts point out that the rise in ETH/BTC usually reflects higher investor risk appetite and improved market outlooks for Ethereum’s ecosystem, application demand, and future growth prospects.

Swiss crypto bank AMINA explores listing, with Cantor serving as its advisor.

Swiss digital asset bank AMINA is partnering with Wall Street financial institution Cantor to evaluate potential paths for a future public market listing. Insiders disclosed that AMINA previously considered going public via a SPAC or other methods, but now leans toward a reverse merger with Digital Asset Treasury (DAT). However, related discussions are still ongoing, and no final decision has been reached. AMINA noted that its current priority is securing capital to support strategic growth, rather than simply pursuing a quick listing; an IPO may still be an option in its next phase. Founded in 2018, AMINA was formerly SEBA Bank and rebranded in 2023. Regulated by Switzerland’s Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA), it is one of the few licensed banks focused on the digital asset space, offering crypto asset trading, custody, staking, and lending services, with operations now expanded to the UAE, Hong Kong, and India. In recent years, as crypto firms including Circle, Bullish, and Gemini have successively entered the capital markets, the industry has witnessed a new wave of IPO activity. As of the end of 2025, AMINA holds 74.6 million Swiss francs in tier 1 capital, with cumulative financing totaling approximately $245 million.

ASML and Beis Semiconductor stocks hit limit down, China's independently developed DUV lithography machine enters mass production, ChangXin may be among the first batch of application clients.

Amsterdam-listed ASML and Besi Semiconductor triggered automatic trading halts after their shares fell between 8% and 8.7%. According to a report by The Information citing people familiar with the matter, a company backed by Chinese state-owned capital has begun mass-producing independently developed DUV (deep ultraviolet) lithography equipment, a key milestone in China’s semiconductor industry’s push for domestic substitution. The firm plans to manufacture around 5 DUV lithography machines in 2026, expanding output to roughly 20 units in 2027. While a significant capacity gap remains with Dutch lithography giant ASML, which delivered 131 immersion DUV lithography systems last year, the mass production of domestically developed DUV equipment marks a further step toward self-reliance and control in China’s chip manufacturing supply chain. Sources added that these domestic DUV lithography machines are scheduled for delivery to major Chinese chip makers, including Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation (SMIC), Hua Hong Semiconductor, and memory chip supplier Changxin Memory Technologies.
