Binance Wallet launches CXMT perpetual contracts, supporting up to 20x leverage trading.

According to data from Farside Investors, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw a total net outflow of $11.6 million yesterday. BlackRock’s IBIT recorded a net outflow of $8.8 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC posted a $2.8 million net outflow; all other Bitcoin ETFs had zero net flows for the day. U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs, meanwhile, saw a total net inflow of $11.7 million yesterday. BlackRock’s ETHA accounted for the full $11.7 million daily net inflow, with all other Ethereum ETFs registering zero net flows for the day.

Solana Optimistic Network (SOON) announced that the security incident detected on July 12 has been fully investigated and resolved. The incident did not involve vulnerabilities in the SOON protocol, sequencer, or user-facing smart contracts, and no user funds were lost. SOON noted the root cause was a security issue in its off-chain operational environment. According to third-party security firm BlockSec, external attackers gained unauthorized access via a misconfigured service, then penetrated parts of the internal environment due to insufficient access controls. The incident was limited to certain operational infrastructure and related processes, with no impact on on-chain user assets, user smart contracts, or SOON network security. Post-incident, SOON suspended its sequencer and some services and launched a full security review. During this period, functions including NFT minting, token claiming, and on-chain withdrawals were temporarily disabled. SOON restored NFT minting and token claiming on July 21, and resumed mainnet RPC services and block production on July 27. The network has now returned to normal operation.

According to an official announcement, Binance’s Flash Swap will undergo scheduled system maintenance at 07:30 (GMT+8, East Eight Zone Time) on August 2, 2026. During the maintenance window, users will be unable to place new Flash Swap orders or limit orders. Existing recurring investment orders may be skipped due to the system upgrade, and the maintenance is expected to be completed within one hour.

Citibank said its baseline scenario indicates that despite the third quarter historically being a peak period for seasonal restocking, India’s gold imports will remain sluggish in Q3. The factors driving this include ample scrap supply, cautious consumer sentiment, and local price discounts, which are suppressing demand for new imports. However, Citibank has set its short-term gold price target for the 0 to 3 month window at $4,500. The bank explained that this target is premised on two assumptions: easing tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and the Federal Reserve adopting a less hawkish stance. It also noted that numerous short-term risks could still trigger another dip in gold prices, including major geopolitical escalations, AI-driven de-risking operations, and the Fed maintaining a hawkish position. Per official announcement, Binance will discontinue support for the Sophon (SOPH) mainnet and enable SOPH deposits and withdrawals via the Ethereum (ERC20) network. The announcement states that starting August 4, 2026, at 08:00 UTC, Binance will suspend SOPH mainnet deposit and withdrawal services. Following the migration, the Sophon mainnet will no longer be used for deposit and withdrawal activities. Binance noted that it will handle all technical operations required for the migration, and spot, leverage, contract trading, and Binance Earn services will remain unaffected. During the migration, SOPH will be migrated at a 1:1 ratio from the Sophon mainnet to the Ethereum (ERC20) network. Users do not need to take manual action, but should monitor subsequent network adjustments for deposits and withdrawals.

trade.xyz released a report noting that multiple core metrics of the platform have hit all-time highs. Specifically, its cumulative trading volume reached $408.4 billion, with cumulative weekend trading volume totaling $26.07 billion. The platform’s peak 24-hour trading volume came in at $5.6 billion, open interest rose to $3.9 billion, and the peak number of daily unique traders hit 60,600.
