Trade.xyz is reportedly set to pay approximately $80 million in compensation to SK Hynix over a pinning attack, while the address that suffered the largest losses is slated to receive around $2 million.

BlockBeats News: Yesterday morning, only one share of SK Hynix traded in South Korea’s pre-market at 1,272,000 won, equivalent to roughly $868. This transaction, worth less than $900, was subsequently fed into TradeXYZ’s pricing system, causing the SKHX perpetual contract to plunge to a low of $927 from $1,128.2 in one minute. Within less than three minutes, hundreds of accounts were liquidated by the system. Over the next four hours, the total liquidation volume rose to around $80 million. If Trade.xyz follows its announcement to compensate all liquidation losses caused by this price anomaly, the total payout could reach roughly $80 million. According to HyperInsight’s detailed on-chain address tracking, the notional value of SKHX liquidations in the short period hit approximately $79.398 million, with open interest dropping from $481 million to $331 million—a decrease of around $150 million. The top three addresses on the liquidation list were collectively liquidated for $14.7754 million; among them, the address starting with 0x320 (the one with the largest loss) was liquidated for roughly $3.957 million, resulting in a loss of about $2.045 million. This morning, Trade.xyz released an announcement regarding the Hynix contract "pinning" incident, stating it will cover all liquidation losses caused by this price anomaly on a one-time, discretionary basis. Specific eligibility requirements will be announced soon, and payouts are expected to be completed within several days. The platform explicitly noted that this decision "does not constitute a guarantee for similar situations in the future." An analyst has commented that Anthropic's decision to add watermarks to content generated by its Claude AI is the company's most severe act of self-sabotage to date.

Citrini analyst Jukan commented on the embedding of invisible text watermarks in Anthropic’s new Claude models, stating: “Anthropic’s decision to do this on the eve of its IPO is the most serious self-inflicted damage.” Earlier reports noted that Anthropic has begun adding machine-recognizable “invisible watermarks” to text generated by Claude. The rollout covers Claude, Claude Code, Cowork, its API, and supported models on AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Foundry. New models will support the watermarking feature upon launch, while existing models are being integrated gradually. The move is reportedly to comply with transparency requirements under Article 50 of the EU AI Act. The watermarks are embedded directly into text content, can be transmitted via copy-paste, are globally applicable, and do not impact readability.

A critical consensus vulnerability has emerged in the Ravencoin network, potentially leading to a deep chain reorganization.

Proof-of-Work (PoW) blockchain Ravencoin announced via tweet that a critical consensus vulnerability has emerged on its network and been exploited, resulting in vulnerable nodes accepting invalid blocks. The first known invalid block appeared at block height 4,487,776. Currently, 2Miners and RavenMiner, which control the majority of the network’s hash rate, have stated they are mining a chain that excludes the exploited branch starting from block height 4,487,776. If this chain becomes dominant, it could lead to a deep chain reorganization of approximately three days. The official recommends centralized exchanges (CEXes) temporarily suspend RVN deposits and withdrawals until the network stabilizes; transactions confirmed after block height 4,487,775 should be considered risky. The official also emphasized that this notice is intended to enhance transparency and risk awareness, and does not constitute endorsement of any rollback or recovery plan.
