For the fourth quarter of fiscal 2026, the company reported earnings per share (EPS) of $1.82, beating the market consensus estimate of $1.69; revenue came in at $6.72 billion, also exceeding the market expectation of $6.66 billion. The firm also issued performance guidance for the first quarter of fiscal 2027, projecting EPS in a range of $2.00 to $2.30, higher than the market forecast of $1.81; revenue is expected to be between $7.7 billion and $8.5 billion, surpassing the market estimate of $7.0 billion. Lam Research noted that AI data center construction, memory chip demand, and sustained growth in semiconductor capital expenditure remain core drivers of its business growth. Driven by the strong results and guidance, the company’s latest quarterly performance overall outperformed market expectations.
