Thorn said most of the identified stolen assets remain unmoved, and the relevant addresses have been submitted to U.S. law enforcement and industry contacts. He views the incident as a major blow to Bitcoin self-custody, calling on the industry to improve security, education, and risk warnings about the complexities of self-custody.

About 9 hours ago, the address deposited 5.8 million LAB tokens into KuCoin, worth approximately $834,000, with the token price standing at around $0.1439 at the time of transfer. In the subsequent one and a half hours, LAB’s price continued to fall, hitting a low of $0.1273, marking an 11.5% drop.
