The UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has optimized its IPO rules, with the new regulations taking effect on August 5.

According to Bloomberg, Binance-affiliated entities Nest Trading, Distributed Technologies, and Chaintecs Consulting Singapore have jointly filed a lawsuit in Hong Kong against RedotPay co-founders Gao Zhangpeng, Chan Wa Choi, and Yao Chao, accusing the trio of breaching agreements by diverting over 470,000 users from Binance Card to RedotPay and claiming $472.8 million in damages. Separately, Binance-related entity Chaintecs has also initiated a lawsuit against a RedotPay affiliate in Singapore, with a hearing scheduled for Friday. RedotPay previously sought an initial public offering (IPO) at a valuation of around $4 billion; the company states it currently has $14 billion in annualized payment volume, $180 million in annualized revenue, and over 8 million users.

Unitree announced that its application for initial public offering (IPO) and listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s STAR Market has been approved by the exchange’s Listing Review Committee and registered with the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). The offering will combine strategic placement, offline issuance, and online issuance, with 40,446,400 new shares to be issued publicly, accounting for 10.00% of the total share capital post-offering. The issuer and its sponsor (lead underwriter) CITIC Securities will host an online roadshow from 14:00 to 17:00 on Friday, August 7, 2026, attended by key members of the issuer’s management and relevant personnel from the sponsor. Unitree is set to launch its IPO and list on the Shanghai Stock Exchange’s STAR Market, with the offline subscription date set for August 10, 2026.

According to BIT (Bit.com) market data, driven by the release of its Q2 2026 financial results, Circle (CRCL) saw its pre-market trading gain expand to nearly 6%, trading at $66.97. As of the end of the second quarter, USDC’s circulating supply reached $73.3 billion, up 19% year-over-year; the quarter’s total revenue and reserve income stood at $701 million, up 7% YoY, with adjusted EBITDA of $143 million, rising 8% YoY. Additionally, Circle announced that its Arc mainnet will launch on September 16, and it has received approval for a U.S. federal trust bank charter.

According to monitoring by OnchainDataNerd, a new crypto wallet has deposited 2.44 million USDC and opened a 1,600 BTC short position with 40x leverage. The position is valued at approximately $102.6 million, with an entry price of around $64,202 and a liquidation price of roughly $64,889. At just about $687 away from its liquidation level, the position has extremely minimal room for error.

In business developments, Circle announced that the Arc public blockchain will launch its mainnet on September 16, with institutions including BlackRock, DTCC, Galaxy, Mastercard, Visa, and Standard Chartered serving as network validators. BlackRock plans to deploy its BUIDL fund on Arc, while DTCC will support the tokenization of DTC-custodied assets on the network. Additionally, Circle has obtained final approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish Circle National Trust, a national trust bank, making it one of the first stablecoin issuers to secure a U.S. federal banking license. It also received approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) to set up Circle New York Trust. Circle Payments Network (CPN) saw its annualized transaction volume rise to $14.7 billion over the past 30 days, a 76% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) increase, while the number of connected financial institutions grew to 175, up 29% QoQ.

Circle has announced the founding validator lineup for its open blockchain network Arc, confirming the public mainnet will launch on September 16, 2026. To date, Arc has onboarded over 100 ecosystem and institutional builders on its private mainnet. The initial founding validators include BlackRock, Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Galaxy, Global Payments, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Mastercard, MoneyGram, SBI Group, Standard Chartered, Sumitomo Corporation, and Visa. Circle stated that Arc is positioned to serve global financial markets, real-time fund flows, and on-chain financial applications, emphasizing a balance of openness, composability, and institutional-grade compliance and security standards. Additionally, BlackRock is expected to deploy its BUIDL Fund on Arc; Circle is also collaborating with DTCC to support the tokenization of assets held by the Depository Trust Company (DTC) on Arc starting in the second half of 2027.
