South Korean alternative trading platform Nextrade will temporarily ban orders at the daily price upper and lower limits.

On Trade.xyz, Unitree’s pre-IPO perpetual contract price has surged sharply, now trading at $90.495 (approximately 610 RMB), with a 24-hour increase of 23.1%. The corresponding post-IPO market capitalization is around $36.5 billion (about 246.7 billion RMB). According to Unitree’s IPO offering price set yesterday at 150.8 RMB per share, it is expected to deliver a 4.04x gain from new IPO subscriptions after listing. Unitree’s STAR Market IPO plans to issue 40.4464 million shares, accounting for 10% of its total share capital post-issuance. One lot consists of 500 shares, with an estimated subscription payment of around 75,000 RMB per lot. Based on Trade.xyz’s pricing, 500 shares are valued at 305,000 RMB, translating to an approximate profit of 230,000 RMB after deducting subscription payments.

According to an official announcement, Upbit has added Synthetix (SNX) to its trading warning list.

SK Hynix announced it will invest $38.4 billion to expand its chip business in South Korea. The company plans to invest 19.1 trillion won (equivalent to $134.7 billion) in the M17 chip plant in Cheongju, with the investment set to be completed by 2031. It will also allocate 35.2 trillion won (approximately $249 billion) in Yongin for the construction of a second-phase chip facility.

According to Digital Asset, South Korea’s National Police Agency has selected Dunamu, parent company of crypto exchange Upbit, via public tender to oversee the custody of seized virtual assets under a 1-year contract. The seized digital assets will be managed through Upbit Custody, the platform’s digital asset custody service, enabling real-time responses to regulatory infrastructure and round-the-clock custody and management throughout the 365-day term. The service uses 100% offline cold wallets, 24/7 monitoring, and incorporates MPC, DKG multi-key management, and multi-signature technologies to ensure asset isolation and security.

According to an official announcement, South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has announced it will terminate trading support for BONK at 15:00 KST on September 7, 2026.
