NVIDIA Architect Founds AI Coding Startup Blitzy, Raises $200 Million in Funding, Valued at $1.4 Billion

Dongcha Beating monitoring reports that Blitzy—an AI coding startup co-founded by a former NVIDIA architect—has raised $200 million, securing a post-money valuation of $1.4 billion. Headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Blitzy was launched in 2023 by Brian Elliott (a former U.S. Army Cavalryman and entrepreneur) and Sid Pardeshi (a former senior architect at NVIDIA). The company focuses on an AI platform enabling large enterprises to autonomously execute large-scale software development projects. The startup just closed a $200 million Series D round led by Northzone, with participation from PSG, Battery Ventures, Jump Capital, and other institutions. This pushes its total funding to date to over $204 million, cementing Blitzy as the latest unicorn in the Boston area. Blitzy’s platform can reverse-engineer full enterprise codebases, build dynamic knowledge graphs, parse billions of lines of code at once, and coordinate thousands of specialized AI agents to work in parallel over days to weeks. These agents autonomously handle coding, testing, and validation—driving a greater than 5x boost in enterprise engineering velocity, with over 80% of development work completed autonomously. The company plans to use the new capital to expand its R&D team, scale sales operations, and deepen partnerships with regulated sectors including government, finance, and insurance. Blitzy aims to emphasize its full-stack autonomous development edge against competitors like GitHub Copilot and Cognition Devin.
