OpenAI has raised its projected spending on computing resources through 2030 from $600 billion to roughly $750 billion. The company has also launched the Camellia data center project in Georgia, U.S., with an initial investment of $20 billion. The facility is expected to secure 3.2 gigawatts of power supply between 2028 and 2032, and its total cost could exceed $30 billion. OpenAI previously signed a total 6-gigawatt data center capacity agreement with Oracle, expanded its multi-year partnership with AWS to $13.8 billion, and plans to allocate an additional $250 billion in cloud computing investments to Microsoft Azure. OpenAI CFO Sarah Friar has previously warned that if revenue growth fails to keep pace with spending, the company may struggle to sustain the costs of expanding its computing power. Meanwhile, AMD has struck a multi-billion-dollar server partnership deal with Anthropic. Starting in 2027, Anthropic will purchase up to 2 gigawatts of AMD Instinct MI450 series chips; once the project meets specific deployment milestones, AMD will invest up to $5 billion in Anthropic. Anthropic currently uses Google’s TPUs, Amazon’s Trainium chips, and NVIDIA GPUs, and this partnership will further diversify its chip supply sources. In addition, Elon Musk’s SpaceXAI is building at least one large data center in Texas to expand its AI computing capacity beyond its existing facility in Memphis, Tennessee.

According to on-chain analyst Ai Yi (@ai_9684xtpa), Binance’s live contract trading account “Jason leo133” is suspected to be the personal account of contract whale “Xian Ding 10 Da Mubiao” (a nickname translating to “Set 10 Big Goals First”). The profit and loss figures from multiple recent trades on this account largely align with the information the whale has disclosed on social media. Latest data shows the account currently holds a short position of 2,741.71 BTC, worth approximately $180 million, with an average entry price of $65,970.9 and an unrealized profit of around $1.155 million. “Xian Ding 10 Da Mubiao” previously noted that his account was originally a unified margin account; after switching back to a classic account, some trade data records have shown discrepancies, which may impact cumulative return and profit/loss calculations. Still, the account’s current profit performance remains among the top of Binance’s live contract trading rankings for the 7-day, 30-day, and 90-day periods.

Renowned trader Killa (@KillaXBT) published an analysis noting that Bitcoin’s historical bear markets typically complete a 5-wave correction and form two key peaks. The first peak often occurs during the first sharp rebound after the market top—this is the "complacency peak" where the market widely believes a bull market has returned—after which prices usually go on to hit new lows. He points out that a similar structure has been observed in the 2014, 2022, and 2026 cycles. After the complacency peak forms, the market typically sees a "dead cat bounce" that establishes a temporary bottom; as market sentiment worsens and short positions become concentrated, a short squeeze then drives a price rebound, with the final bottom usually forming after a second key retest. Killa argues that BTC has now swept through the bottom formed by the dead cat bounce and completed a 5-wave correction structure similar to past cycles. From a structural perspective, the correction wave is complete, and the low point may already be in place. However, he remains cautious about the timeline: past bear markets typically lasted around 365 days to form their final bottom, but if the current cycle’s low has already emerged, it has only taken roughly 260 days—about 100 days ahead of historical timelines. He currently holds a 50/50 outlook, but believes the likelihood of a higher low forming next is greater than that of a significant new low.
