According to BIT (Bit.com) market data, driven by the release of its Q2 2026 financial results, Circle (CRCL) saw its pre-market trading gain expand to nearly 6%, trading at $66.97. As of the end of the second quarter, USDC’s circulating supply reached $73.3 billion, up 19% year-over-year; the quarter’s total revenue and reserve income stood at $701 million, up 7% YoY, with adjusted EBITDA of $143 million, rising 8% YoY. Additionally, Circle announced that its Arc mainnet will launch on September 16, and it has received approval for a U.S. federal trust bank charter.

In business developments, Circle announced that the Arc public blockchain will launch its mainnet on September 16, with institutions including BlackRock, DTCC, Galaxy, Mastercard, Visa, and Standard Chartered serving as network validators. BlackRock plans to deploy its BUIDL fund on Arc, while DTCC will support the tokenization of DTC-custodied assets on the network. Additionally, Circle has obtained final approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) to establish Circle National Trust, a national trust bank, making it one of the first stablecoin issuers to secure a U.S. federal banking license. It also received approval from the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) to set up Circle New York Trust. Circle Payments Network (CPN) saw its annualized transaction volume rise to $14.7 billion over the past 30 days, a 76% quarter-over-quarter (QoQ) increase, while the number of connected financial institutions grew to 175, up 29% QoQ.

Circle has announced the founding validator lineup for its open blockchain network Arc, confirming the public mainnet will launch on September 16, 2026. To date, Arc has onboarded over 100 ecosystem and institutional builders on its private mainnet. The initial founding validators include BlackRock, Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), Galaxy, Global Payments, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Mastercard, MoneyGram, SBI Group, Standard Chartered, Sumitomo Corporation, and Visa. Circle stated that Arc is positioned to serve global financial markets, real-time fund flows, and on-chain financial applications, emphasizing a balance of openness, composability, and institutional-grade compliance and security standards. Additionally, BlackRock is expected to deploy its BUIDL Fund on Arc; Circle is also collaborating with DTCC to support the tokenization of assets held by the Depository Trust Company (DTC) on Arc starting in the second half of 2027.

The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has announced it is simplifying rules related to initial public offerings (IPOs) to support corporate listing activities. The new rules will eliminate the 7-day waiting period for related research reports during IPOs and streamline information sharing requirements between issuers and companies. The FCA noted that this reform will reduce issuers’ execution risks and compliance costs, making it easier for companies to access public markets. Data shows that addresses linked to him sold approximately 1,638 BTC last week, valued at around $102.4 million; followed by an additional sale of roughly 299.84 BTC worth $18.91 million; and today, another ~1,030 BTC was sold, valued at about $66.14 million.
