Trump says US-Iran talks are 'progressing very well', but Iran refuses to acknowledge it.

Despite repeated denials from Iranian officials, US President Donald Trump said Washington and Iran are holding "very good discussions". "We are having very good discussions. It’s a bit disturbing that they are unwilling to admit this," Trump stated in an interview with Fox News. "The only thing that matters is action. They want to reach an agreement, and we will wait and see. If they ultimately fail to reach an agreement, that would be too bad," he added. (Jinshi)

Cantor Fitzgerald: SK Hynix ADR share price could double in the next 12 months, with a target price of $300.

According to CNBC, SK Hynix has been covered by multiple Wall Street investment banks following its U.S. listing. Cantor Fitzgerald set a $300 price target for the stock, implying over 100% upside from its Monday closing price of $142.72, citing expectations that AI infrastructure construction will continue to drive demand for DRAM, NAND, and HBM. Cantor analyst C.J. Muse noted that bit demand for DRAM and NAND is likely to significantly outpace supply through at least 2029. Clients including NVIDIA and Alphabet are locking in production capacity via multi-year contracts, with some agreements covering purchase volumes, price ranges, advance payments, and default clauses—boosting the profitability and order visibility of memory chip makers. Other investment banks also hold a positive outlook on SK Hynix, with Bank of America, Stifel, and Royal Bank of Canada setting price targets of $250, $240, and $200 respectively. Royal Bank of Canada projects the firm’s operating margin will rise to 86% next year from 76% in the second quarter. Stifel cited key risks including product obsolescence due to technological iteration and over-concentration of demand among a small number of U.S. hyperscale cloud service providers. SK Hynix’s American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) began trading on a when-issued basis on the Nasdaq on July 10. According to Bank of America data, the firm raised approximately $26.5 billion by selling 178 million shares.

A prominent trader: Bitcoin has entered the bottom zone and is accumulating BTC in the range of $54,000 to $64,000.

Well-known trader Doctor Profit stated in a post that he did not short Bitcoin (BTC) precisely at the $125,000 peak, but instead built short positions gradually in the $115,000 to $125,000 range, sold all his BTC holdings, and opened large-scale short positions, while concluding that the current bull market has ended. He has now set BTC’s buying range at $54,000 to $64,000 and is executing purchases per this plan. Doctor Profit added that he cannot predict the exact bottom, noting he is more adept at identifying price zones, and the current buying range signals his view that BTC has entered the bottom area, with him preparing accordingly.

Wall Street is deepening its control over the crypto market, with derivatives and ETFs reshaping the trading structure.

According to a Bloomberg report, Wintermute data shows that in the first half of 2026, institutional investors accounted for 72% of the spot trading volume on its over-the-counter (OTC) platform, up from 59% a year earlier. Despite weak overall crypto market trading volumes, hedge funds and asset management firms are gradually replacing retail investors as the primary source of market liquidity. Wintermute analysts noted that the crypto market is shifting to an institution-driven structure, with rising capital concentration, derivatives playing a larger role in expressing risk exposure, and secondary market trading of tokenized assets beginning to scale. Institutions are increasingly gaining exposure via derivatives, structured products, and ETFs rather than directly purchasing tokens. Beyond Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH), trading volume for altcoin options on Wintermute’s OTC platform grew more than threefold compared to the second half of 2025, though liquidity is concentrated in a smaller number of tokens. Over the past two years, the number of tokens traded by professional counterparties has risen by 24%, while the number traded by retail investors has jumped 76%—a sign that institutions favor more liquid assets. Bitcoin is now down roughly 50% from its peak of over $126,000 in October 2025, though the decline has been more gradual than in previous crypto winters. Stephen Coltman, head of macro at 21Shares, said crypto assets are now traded more like other asset classes; the market may be nearing a bottom, though confirmation will only come in hindsight.
