Hyperliquid Mainnet Validator Update: 21 Permissionless Nodes to Participate, Delegation Program Coming Soon

On April 22nd, the Hyperliquid Foundation made an announcement. It stated that the Hyperliquid validator set has now been updated to consist of 21 permissionless nodes, and any user is eligible to register a node. The top 21 validators based on the staked amount will form the active set. Nodes are mandated to self-stake 10,000 HYPE tokens, and this stake is locked for a period of one year. Even if a node is not selected for the active set, there will be no refund. The official recommendation is to get familiar with the testnet before the launch of the mainnet. Additionally, priority should be given to applying for the Delegation Program, which is scheduled to start in the coming days. This program aims to allocate token support to high-quality validators.
