Semler Scientific Announces Bitcoin HODL Plan: Hold at least 10,000 Satoshis by the end of 2025, reaching 105,000 Satoshis by 2027

On June 20th, as per Reuters, the publicly traded company Semler Scientific in the US announced the appointment of Joe Burnett as the Bitcoin Strategic Director. It also disclosed its Bitcoin holding plan: aiming to accumulate 10,000 bitcoins by the end of 2025, reach 42,000 by the end of 2026, and exceed 105,000 by the end of 2027 through equity/debt financing and operational cash flow. Eric Semler, the chairman of Semler Scientific, stated, "Joe's joining will vigorously drive Semler Scientific's strategic goal of holding 105,000 bitcoins within three years. He is not only an analytical thought leader in the Bitcoin field but also an expert in corporate Bitcoin treasury strategy. His professional insights will assist us in implementing a Bitcoin treasury strategy to create long-term value for shareholders. Since announcing the Bitcoin treasury strategy in May 2024, Semler Scientific has made substantial progress. As of June 3, 2025, the Bitcoin asset has achieved a return of 287%, realizing a value appreciation of USD 177 million. We will expedite the Bitcoin accumulation plan."
