Vitalik and Dr. Xiao Feng Jointly Launch "Ethereum Application Alliance" Initiative

On October 2nd, during the Token2049 summit, Dr. Xiao Feng, who is the Chairman and CEO of HashKey Group, jointly launched the "Ethereum Applications Guild" (EAG) initiative together with Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum. The purpose of this initiative is to gather developers, researchers, teams, and institutions in the Ethereum ecosystem to jointly establish an open, transparent, and sustainable collaboration mechanism. It aims to accelerate the development and practical implementation of native applications and drive the Ethereum ecosystem from being "infrastructure-led" to a new stage of "application-driven". The EAG is not a traditional foundation or accelerator. Instead, it is an open initiative seeking to build a global collaboration network for Ethereum-native applications. With Shanhaiwu as its main application incubation site, it encourages more developers to build, verify, and promote real-world problem-solving solutions. This initiative presents not an organizational entity but a mechanism concept, constructing a new generation of collaboration paradigm for builders in the Ethereum ecosystem.
