Dark Pool Trading Platform HumidiFi has reached a trading volume of $34 billion in the past month, becoming the largest DEX on Solana

2025.10.20 19:26:17

October 20th On-chain dark pool trading platform HumidiFi has emerged as the largest on Solana, setting a record of handling a trading volume of $34 billion within the past month. According to DefiLlama data, HumidiFi has surpassed the $31 billion liquidity protocol Meteora in terms of trading volume and has also outperformed Solana's flagship DEX Raydium ($21 billion). Just three months ago, the daily trading volume of this platform was barely able to break through $1 billion. Dark pool trading platforms (also known as dark pool automated market makers or proprietary market makers) are a kind of trading platform on the Solana blockchain that has witnessed a surge in popularity in recent months. In contrast to the largest decentralized exchange Uniswap, dark pool market makers operate behind the scenes. They usually do not have an official website and do not permit users to provide liquidity to earn exchange fees. These platforms often rely entirely on the liquidity provided by their creators (often remaining anonymous) and only accept trades routed through aggregators like Jupiter. Although dark pool market makers are more transparent than centralized exchanges as all trades are publicly visible on-chain, they have lower transparency in other aspects. Dark pool operators typically choose to remain anonymous as they only interact with aggregators and not directly with traders. To this day, the development team behind HumidiFi remains anonymous, although activities on its X account indicate that their identity may be disclosed soon.

Benchmark’s former stake will be acquired by Tencent, which will become Manus’ largest shareholder. Manus is currently operating normally. The company announced yesterday that it will resume independent operations. To complete this transition and meet regulatory requirements in some jurisdictions, affected users must complete data backup by 7:59 a.m. Singapore time on August 23, and start data recovery from 8:00 a.m. on August 25 to ensure normal subsequent use. Manus also stated that it is preparing a series of new features to further expand the capabilities of its general-purpose AI agents, and expressed full confidence in the company’s prospects after resuming independent operations.

Robinhood Chain has seen on-chain capital shift from fluid to stagnant, with daily trading volume hitting a record high of 11.6 million transactions, while the number of active addresses has stagnated over the same period.

Robinhood Chain hit a historical network high of 11.6 million average daily transactions last week, up roughly 30% from the prior week; its total value locked (TVL) climbed to $473 million, a 32% week-over-week increase. However, average daily active addresses only rose 3.3% week-over-week, remaining 11% below its July 16 peak—though active addresses saw a brief spike on Thursday due to the launch of Cashcat meme coin spot trading on the Robinhood app, the weekly average barely shifted. The rapid growth in trading volume and TVL stands in stark contrast to stagnant user growth, indicating on-chain activity is now driven by the same users trading more frequently rather than attracting new participants. This trend is further confirmed by changes to Robinhood Chain’s stablecoin composition: Ethena’s yield-bearing synthetic dollar USDe now totals $253 million on the chain, accounting for ~43% of the chain’s total stablecoin supply, up from just $17 million a month ago when Robinhood’s native stablecoin USDG dominated. The network’s dollar base is shifting from a medium of exchange to yield-bearing synthetic dollars, signaling capital is being parked rather than circulated.
