Ethereum Foundation Advances dAI2026 Roadmap, with ERC-8004 and x402 as Key Focus Areas

On November 11th, the leader of the EF dAI Team, Davide Crapis, announced that they are currently collaborating with the leadership of the Ethereum Foundation (EF) to develop the dAI Team's 2026 roadmap. The aim is to transform Ethereum into a global decentralized settlement and coordination infrastructure for AI, enabling autonomous agents to interact with identity, assets, and data in a publicly auditable manner. Davide Crapis also expressed gratitude for the expanding community around the ERC-8004 and x402 protocols, stating that these two standards are evolving into a neutral specification for "agentic commerce." He is seeking input from teams building related applications regarding the future directions that deserve priority support.
