「Rug Pull Airforce Front-Running」 is shorting various coins such as PUMP and MET to short the Solana ecosystem, with the current total position size exceeding $5 million.

On January 6, per the Coinbob Popular Address Monitor, the so-called "Shanzhai Air Force Leader" has recently ramped up short positions against Solana ecosystem tokens. Today, the address continued to add to its PUMP short position and opened a new short on MET (Meteora, a Solana ecosystem project). It currently holds a 10x leveraged PUMP short worth ~$4.01 million at an average price of $0.00238, and a 3x leveraged MET short of ~$300k at an average price of $0.31. As of press time, the address is still actively increasing its positions in both tokens. Additionally, the address is shorting Solana-based meme coins—including recent high-growth tokens like PEPE and Fartcoin—with a total short size of ~$1.2 million. Further Coinbob monitoring shows that despite LIT’s steady price rise from last night through this morning, the "Shanzhai Air Force Leader" instead added to its LIT short. Its current LIT position totals $14.2 million at an average price of $2.70, with an unrealized loss of $1.74 million. This is the largest LIT short position on the Hyperliquid platform. Since November, the address has held shorts on over 20 meme coins, growing its total position size from ~$20 million to the current $46.7 million. The recent broad market rally has narrowed its overall unrealized gains by ~$3 million, though it still holds unrealized profits. Its cumulative profits for the year have reached $80 million.
