2025.02.20 15:01:44

On February 20th, according to official information, the Bitcoin network Rune DEX platform OdinSwap announced that both it and the Rune launch platform Valhalla will gradually stop their operations. It is emphasized that all user funds are in a safe state. OdinSwap and Valhalla will continue to operate until February 28th, 2025. Users are advised to withdraw their funds before this date. After February 28th, any unclaimed balances will be refunded manually. However, users need to bear the appropriate BTC network fees. The refund process will be handled manually and may take up to one month to complete. Refunds will only be issued for balances that exceed the network fees. During this transition period, OdinSwap is open to seeking strategic partnerships and collaborations. It welcomes potential partners who are interested in integrating with the platform and encourages them to make inquiries. BlockBeats previously reported that as of February 15th, the Bitcoin network transaction volume (7-day moving average) had decreased to 330,000 transactions, hovering near a 12-month low, which is a 55% decrease compared to the peak of 730,000 transactions in the network's history. The Rune fees generated in the past 30 days have dropped to less than $20,000 (compared to $60 million generated on the day of launch).

Global family offices have built up substantial stakes in SpaceX, totaling $3.8 billion, with Hyatt hotel heirs holding a $1.8 billion heavy stake.

Ultra-high-net-worth family offices from the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East have collectively built approximately $3.8 billion in positions in SpaceX. The largest single stake belongs to the family office of Nick Pritzker, heir to the Hyatt hotel fortune, which held roughly $1.8 billion worth of SpaceX positions as of the end of June; the stake was established just weeks after SpaceX’s public listing. Two key trends are emerging: First, family offices are reallocating capital from traditional portfolios to actively position themselves in long-cycle themes such as rockets, satellites, and AI infrastructure. Second, SpaceX’s secondary market capital structure is expanding beyond its original PE/VC holders to a broader group of ultra-high-net-worth investors and institutional players. Against the backdrop of SpaceX’s share price facing post-listing volatility, lock-up period selling pressure, and a short squeeze, the massive positions built by family offices have provided new buying support for the market.

Trump admits to having a secret backchannel with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps

According to Fox News, U.S. President Donald Trump today confirmed the existence of secret communication channels between himself and officials of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). Details of U.S.-Iran negotiations were exposed several days ago, revealing that the Trump administration had bypassed Iran’s official negotiators to engage with the IRGC. In mid-May this year, when U.S. negotiators attempted to reach an agreement with Iran to end hostilities, they encountered a critical problem: they could not verify whether the Iranian representatives at the negotiating table truly represented the highly influential IRGC. As a result, Trump administration officials took an unusual approach—bypassing Iran’s official negotiators to directly contact senior IRGC leaders. The U.S. selected Nechirvan Barzani, President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to oversee this secret channel, a choice based on his rare advantage of being trusted by both the U.S. and IRGC leadership. A key reason for the difficulties in U.S.-Iran negotiations is that Washington cannot determine who actually holds decision-making power in Iran.
