Aave Proposes Establishment of Unified Listing Standard: High-Risk Assets or Restricted Listing and Scalability

2026.05.29 08:00:35

On May 29, Aave Labs rolled out a new proposal to establish a unified technical review framework for assets across Aave V3, V4, and Horizon. This framework will set standardized processes for three core areas: new asset listings, scalability checks for existing assets, and ongoing reviews to keep supported assets compliant long-term. Per the proposal, all assets added moving forward must meet a range of technical criteria, including ERC20 compatibility, reliable oracle integration, secure bridge infrastructure, robust permission controls, transparent minting mechanisms, and a completed audit. The framework also introduces continuous monitoring to uphold long-term alignment with the protocol’s security standards. Aave notes this framework is designed to address the "hidden risks" tied to certain assets—like unlimited minting, overly weak upgrade permissions, mismatched bridge supply levels, unclear redemption routes, and reliance on off-chain custody. Though these issues might not show up in market metrics, they pose direct threats to the protocol’s solvency, liquidation system, and collateral parameter security. Under the proposal, assets with major technical flaws could face consequences such as lower borrowing caps, tightened collateral parameter limits, delayed listings, or even recommendations to be cut from the protocol entirely. Finally, the framework specifically calls for enhanced reviews for three asset categories: cross-chain assets, yield-bearing assets, and RWA (real-world asset) off-chain-dependent assets. These extra checks will cover factors including bridge structures, off-chain legal terms, custody mechanisms, and supply integrity.

Anthropic projects a surging AI economy, aligning with Elon Musk’s view that AI and robotics will double the global economy.

Beating AI News Flash: Anthropic’s latest economic scenario model shows that in the most extreme case, if AI can independently complete the vast majority of knowledge-based jobs and spread rapidly, the U.S. annual GDP growth rate could reach 15%, with the economy doubling roughly every 4.5 years. By 2030, U.S. GDP could hit $44.4 trillion, 32.4% higher than in a scenario without AI. Anthropic emphasized that this is a conditional extreme scenario, not a formal forecast. Earlier, Elon Musk put forward a more radical assessment: he recently stated that combining AI with humanoid robots will drive the global economy to more than double in less than 10 years, and views the mass production of humanoid robots as a key milestone for this shift. The two views share clear logical alignment: Anthropic’s calculation focuses on the economic impact of large-scale automation of knowledge work by AI, while Musk extends AI’s capabilities to the physical world, arguing that after humanoid robots enter mass production, automation will expand from the digital realm to real-world production. However, Anthropic clarified that its current model does not yet include humanoid robots with superhuman capabilities. The firm’s survey of 10,980 U.S. respondents found that their typical expectation only translates to a 10% higher GDP in 2030 than in the no-AI scenario, with only around 10% of respondents offering judgments close to the extreme scenario.

Castle Securities calls on the US SEC to regulate event contracts related to US stocks.

Citadel Securities has submitted comments to U.S. regulators, urging the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to oversee event contracts related to U.S. listed companies. The market maker stated that trading platforms should not evade the SEC’s regulatory jurisdiction by self-certifying with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). The dispute over regulatory authority for event contracts is intensifying. Currently, some U.S. prediction markets launch such contracts under the CFTC framework, and as event contracts gradually cover financial assets like stocks, the regulatory boundary between the SEC and CFTC has become a key focus of the market.
