The Solana ecosystem has emerged as the only remaining on-chain hotspot, with Banton surging past $10 million before pulling back.
On-chain activity has plummeted today, but the Solana ecosystem remains the only hot spot on chain. According to GMGN market data, multiple meme coins paired with altcoin liquidity pools have stayed strong today. Among them: BATON, launched 7 hours ago, has seen its trading volume exceed $2,750. Its market cap briefly surged to $10 million before pulling back, and is now trading at $4.94 million. The token derives its name from an early pump.fun project and its parent company, with its liquidity pair being PUMP, the native token of the pump.fun platform. LEVERCAT is currently valued at $5 million, with a 24-hour gain of 277%. Its liquidity pool is paired with xSOL, a leveraged SOL token from Hylo. BlockBeats reminds users that most meme coins have no practical use cases, are highly volatile, and investors should exercise caution.

DeepSeek adds 4 extra days for V4 Pro, introducing a grace period for its automatic Flash switch plan.
Beating AI Express (Dongcha) reports that DeepSeek has adjusted the shutdown schedule for its V4 Pro AI model. Yesterday, the company had announced that once V4.1 Flash launched, all V4 Pro requests would be automatically switched to the new model. The latest update now sets V4 Pro’s shutdown for September 14 at 12:00, with all requests transferred to V4.1 Flash at that time and billed at Flash’s rate.
The earlier automatic replacement plan drew opposition from many developers, who worried that their carefully tuned prompts, agents, and production workflows built around V4 Pro would malfunction due to the backend model switch. Some developers suggested DeepSeek retain the old model for a period, allowing users to decide their own migration timing.
DeepSeek did not clarify whether the adjustment was related to this feedback. However, compared to the original plan of switching immediately upon launch, the new schedule gives existing V4 Pro users at least several days for migration and testing.
