According to monitoring by Beating and a Caixin report, former major shareholders of Manus including Tencent, ZhenFund and Sequoia China have repurchased Manus shares from Meta for $2 billion. The $2 billion transaction price is close to the acquisition price announced by U.S. social media tech giant Meta in December 2025. Benchmark, Manus’ largest shareholder prior to its acquisition, will not participate in this repurchase. Benchmark’s former stake will be acquired by Tencent, which will become Manus’ largest shareholder. Manus is currently operating normally. The company announced yesterday that it will resume independent operations. To complete this transition and meet regulatory requirements in some jurisdictions, affected users must complete data backup by 7:59 a.m. Singapore time on August 23, and start data recovery from 8:00 a.m. on August 25 to ensure normal subsequent use. Manus also stated that it is preparing a series of new features to further expand the capabilities of its general-purpose AI agents, and expressed full confidence in the company’s prospects after resuming independent operations.

According to Bitget market data, AI stocks on Hong Kong's stock market rallied at the opening, with Zhipu AI and MiniMax surging nearly 7% and 5% respectively. Sui has officially launched Tessera, its new B2B enterprise settlement network built on Seal MPC and Sui’s private transfer technology. Designed to address transaction amount privacy issues, the solution allows enterprises to complete settlements confidentially while still meeting regulatory and audit requirements when needed. The network’s code is now open-source. Operators retain the management capabilities required for the enterprise alliance, including member onboarding, fund allocation, member freezing, and full network suspension. Tessera supports both one-time transfers and recurring payments. In the event of transaction disputes, cases can be submitted to arbitrators for resolution.

Robinhood Chain hit a historical network high of 11.6 million average daily transactions last week, up roughly 30% from the prior week; its total value locked (TVL) climbed to $473 million, a 32% week-over-week increase.
