PayPal USD officially launches on the Polygon network.

According to official announcements, Circle Ventures has invested in blockchain analytics and compliance firm Elliptic, with the specific investment amount undisclosed. Earlier this year, Elliptic completed a $120 million Series D funding round in May, led by One Peak, with participation from institutions including Nasdaq Ventures, Deutsche Bank, and British commercial banks. Elliptic also announced that Circle has joined its "Agentic Design Partner Program"—an initiative bringing together infrastructure providers, compliance leaders, and technical teams to co-develop compliance solutions for AI agent scenarios. Elliptic noted that Circle has been a client of Elliptic for years and has expanded its compliance capabilities across a range of digital asset projects.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman stated that there are many inaccuracies in reports about the U.S. government holding shares in OpenAI. BlockBeats previously reported that the Financial Times said in a July 2 report that OpenAI had discussed transferring a 5% stake to the U.S. government. Meta has announced the launch of its first paid AI developer model, Muse Spark 1.1, a competitive agent and programming model. The model performs on par with GPT-5.5 and Opus-4.8 across multiple agent evaluations, and is now available via the new Meta Model API and Meta AI Platform. Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the plan is to price the offering lower than competitors.
