Michael Saylor: BIP-110 only supported by 2.7% of blocks in the current Bitcoin mining difficulty cycle

Strategy founder Michael Saylor stated in a post that during Bitcoin’s current difficulty adjustment cycle, only 38 blocks (accounting for 2.70% of the total) had set the BIP-110 support flag in their block header version field by block 961,022, making its 55% voluntary threshold impossible to meet. At block 961,632, BIP-110 nodes will reject blocks that fail to signal support. Unless the majority of miners reverse course, Bitcoin will operate normally, while BIP-110 will stagnate, fork, or become irrelevant. Its supporters should stop pushing forward with the proposal.
