Bitcoin mining machine and service provider BitFuFu Inc. (Nasdaq: FUFU) has released its unaudited Bitcoin production and operational metrics for July 2026. The data shows the company produced 112 Bitcoin in July, including 40 from cloud mining and 72 from self-operated mining, with an average daily output of 3.6 Bitcoin, both down month-over-month. Its Bitcoin holdings fell from 1,671 in June to 1,314 in July, a move the company attributed mainly to advance payments for additional computing power that will launch in August 2026 and run for 330 days.

AI infrastructure company Firmus has completed a $2 billion equity financing round, with a post-money valuation exceeding $105 billion. NVIDIA and Coatue Management are continuing their participation in the round, while funds under Blackstone and Jane Street have joined as new investors. Firmus, which originally engaged in bitcoin mining in its early days, later pivoted to become a data center and AI infrastructure provider; the capital raised in this round will be used to accelerate construction of its AI facility in Australia and further expand into the Asian market. Hyperliquid Policy Center (HPC) announced it has submitted a policy statement to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Agricultural Advisory Committee meeting, supporting U.S. users’ participation in on-chain derivatives markets and calling on regulators to adopt a gradual approach to advancing the development of innovative products such as perpetual futures. The submitted statement puts forward three key viewpoints: 1. Market choice is critical for risk management; users in agricultural and other derivatives markets need more tool options. Past experiences of restricting innovative products show that closing market choices without adequate assessment may incur costs. 2. A phased approach to regulating perpetual futures is a reasonable direction for the CFTC. HPC stated that the development of new derivatives should be driven by end-user demand, rather than solely relying on regulatory presets. 3. Public blockchains can enhance the efficiency of financial infrastructure. HPC believes blockchain technology can modernize clearing and settlement systems, improve collateral liquidity, while remaining compliant with the Commodity Exchange Act’s requirements for market integrity and risk protection.
