Relevant page data shows the token has obtained a green verification badge on Jupiter’s trading platform. The news sparked community speculation, driving the token’s market cap to surge threefold in a short time. As of press time, GMGN data puts Alon’s market cap at $7.01 million, with a 24-hour increase of 380% and trading volume exceeding $6.9 million. Public information indicates the green verification badge comes from Jupiter’s Token Verification System (VRFD), which is used to confirm that a specific mint address is the canonical/official version of a given ticker, helping users distinguish copycat projects from fake tokens. CryptoQuant founder Ki Young Ju has acknowledged errors in his earlier analysis of CME Bitcoin (BTC) futures data, correcting that he had mislabeled "Total Reportables" as "Leveraged Funds". Per Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) futures data as of August 4, Total Reportables on CME—all large reportable traders, primarily institutional investors—are currently in a slight net long position. This means his prior assessment that institutions are leaning bullish remains valid, though their long position advantage is limited. The Total Reportables group encompasses not only hedge funds but also asset management firms, dealers, and other traders required to file reports. Ju added that Leveraged Funds still maintain a net short position in standard BTC futures, but their net short position has shrunk by approximately 50% in BTC terms over the past year. As the profitability of basis trading weakens, basis yields have fallen below U.S. Treasury yields, prompting some structural short positions to reduce. Separately, Leveraged Funds hold a small net long position in Micro BTC futures, totaling around 394 BTC—roughly 1% of their net short position in standard BTC futures. Ju noted that Leveraged Funds as a whole have not yet turned net long, but their long-standing structural short positions are clearly easing, a shift that may reflect both basis trading liquidations and adjustments to directional positions.

Samsung Electronics technical expert Park Chang-min announced at the 2026 NGL Conference that Samsung plans to introduce a major lithography technology innovation for its 1-nanometer process, which could enter mass production as early as 2030. The company intends to deploy high-NA EUV — a next-generation extreme ultraviolet lithography technology — in large-scale production at the 1nm node, and is currently focused on developing the technologies required for commercialization. Separately, Samsung is accelerating development of high-NA EUV, the successor to current EUV technology. The firm has set its sights on full-scale mass production deployment of its 1nm (or A10) process. "A" denotes angstrom, with 1 angstrom equal to 0.1nm. Per this roadmap, Samsung expects to begin using high-NA EUV in mass production around 2030. The company has already commercialized its 2nm process and plans to launch mass production of its 1.4nm SF1.4 process in 2029. According to reports, it is preparing to start mass production of SF1.4+ — an enhanced variant of the 1.4nm process — and its 1nm process in 2030.
