Strategy issued a statement responding to the possibility of being removed from MSCI indices, stating: "Digital assets are assets. Index providers should measure the market, not decide which assets companies can hold." The firm added that MSCI’s relevant proposal is inconsistent with the direction of regulators, the market, and its own clients, emphasizing: "Bitcoin does not need MSCI, and neither does Strategy."
