According to Bloomberg, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, said it is considering participating in a new round of financing for prediction market platform Polymarket. ICE CEO Jeff Sprecher told Bloomberg Television in an interview that the company remains open to joining if it helps complete the financing round, adding that its investment endorsement could support the fundraising. ICE’s previous large-scale investment in Polymarket was viewed as a key attempt by a traditional trading platform to build out new market infrastructure. If ICE participates in the latest financing, it could further strengthen the connection between prediction markets and the mainstream financial system. As prediction markets expand in scale, the industry faces challenges including regulatory scrutiny and market standardization. Blockstream CEO and early Bitcoin community contributor Adam Back said Bitcoin hitting $1 million will happen faster than people expect, and its market capitalization will equal that of gold. Back is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Bitcoin Treasuries Conference on September 28.

Google-owned Waymo has developed a custom in-house chip, which the company says will boost the performance of its robotaxis while expanding its chip supply sources from third-party providers like NVIDIA to an in-house channel. The firm states that this ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) chip has entered mass production in its latest generation of robotaxis. Waymo adds that pairing the self-developed chip with other chips and its independently designed sensors will enhance the reaction speed and navigation capabilities of its robotaxis in complex urban environments.

Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev told CNBC in an interview that the world is at the start of a global tokenization supercycle, a trend that will eventually "engulf the entire financial system". Tenev noted that tokenized stocks are poised to bring 24/7 trading, real-time settlement, and self-custody capabilities to the U.S. market, adding that listed stocks are "just the beginning".

According to market data from BIT (bit.com), Moderna (MRNA.O) has fallen 16% after surging more than 170% in its share price at yesterday’s close. Earlier reports stated that Moderna’s personalized mRNA cancer vaccine, co-developed with Merck, achieved major success in Phase III clinical trials targeting high-risk melanoma. This marks the world’s first mRNA cancer therapy to demonstrate efficacy in a large-scale Phase III trial. Following the announcement of this news, Moderna’s share price skyrocketed nearly 177% in a single trading day.

On-chain analyst Ai Yi (@ai_9684xtpa) monitors that on-chain whales are continuing to build positions, with three addresses collectively hoarding ETH worth $12.42 million in the past two hours. One whale withdrew 3,101 ETH from Binance, valued at $7.08 million; another whale is suspected of purchasing 3,092 ETH over-the-counter (OTC) from Galaxy Digital, worth $7.05 million; the address starting with 0x695 bought 1,044 ETH on-chain via CowSwap, valued at $2.39 million.
