The monthly realized volatility (RV) surged 20% to 53%, while monthly implied volatility (IV) rose only 6%, with the volatility risk premium (VRP) now dropping sharply. Looking at other key options metrics, 6% of this week’s options are expiring; open interest has rebounded but remains at low levels, while trading activity has jumped significantly. The rapid pace of price gains and surging trading activity have led to highly dispersed bullish Gamma Exposure (Gex), with negligible bearish Gex, indicating the market is in a broad long position state.

According to market sources, Samsung has unveiled a shareholder return plan ranging from 90 trillion to 110 trillion won, with an expected share buyback of 15 trillion won earmarked for employee compensation. The maximum shareholder return is projected to hit 110 trillion won in 2026.

Calculated against BTC’s price of around $64,500 a week ago, Strategy’s BTC holdings have seen a weekly book value gain of roughly $10 billion as BTC has rallied to the current $76,378 level.

According to official announcements, Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, has listed MANTRA as a “transaction attention project” and suspended MANTRA deposits and withdrawals. Upbit stated that MANTRA has experienced or may lead to user harm due to unresolved or unrepaired security incidents, including hacks, related to its virtual assets, the virtual asset wallets managed by its issuer or operator, or the distributed ledgers used for issuing, transmitting, and storing virtual assets. To protect investors, Upbit has designated MANTRA as a transaction attention project.
