According to Bloomberg, financial disclosures released Saturday by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE) show Trump made over 1,000 securities trades in June, with a total value ranging from $78.1 million to $263.1 million. The transactions included purchases of stocks in Berkshire Hathaway, Visa, Mastercard, Cintas and other firms. The largest single trade was a sale of $5 million to $25 million worth of Vanguard Group ETFs on June 22. Trump also bought Palantir stock worth between $1,001 and $15,000 on June 3, then sold holdings worth $15,001 to $50,000 on June 16 and $500,000 to $1 million on June 18, before making additional purchases on June 23 and 24. Other trade targets included Coinbase, Meta and Home Depot. The disclosures further show Trump has completed over 21,000 securities trades in 2025, with a total value ranging from $600 million to $1.86 billion. The White House noted the relevant investments are managed by an independent entity, with no conflicts of interest; Trump’s son Eric added that the assets have been placed in a blind trust.

Standard Chartered: Bitcoin's year-end target of $100,000 may be too low, with its recovery likely to accelerate after October 6.

Standard Chartered Global Head of Digital Assets Research Geoff Kendrick stated that Bitcoin could approach its all-time high of $126,000 by the end of the year, with the related recovery likely to accelerate after October 6. "For the first time this year, there’s a risk that my end-of-year forecast of $100,000 might be too low," he said. Kendrick noted that the recent rally is mainly driven by short squeezes, while inflows into Bitcoin spot ETFs have also started to recover. Current open interest is low, which may leave room for more investors to re-enter the market amid rising prices. In February this year, Kendrick cut Standard Charter’s year-end Bitcoin target from $150,000 to $100,000, and lowered Ethereum’s target from $7,500 to $4,000. At that time, he had projected Bitcoin would fall to around $50,000 and Ethereum to roughly $1,400 before rebounding over the rest of the year.

South Korean stocks plunge, failing to dampen risk appetite as retail investors shift to high-yield structured products.

An unprecedented stock market crash is pushing South Korean retail investors toward complex structured products. This group of risk-seeking investors continues to seek ways to boost returns. Equity-Linked Securities (ELS), which offer annualized coupons of 40% to 50%, have regained popularity among retail investors. In July, ELS sales rose to a more than three-year high, with products linked to Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix leading the way. Meanwhile, regulators are moving to curb retail investors' frenzied demand for single-stock leveraged exchange-traded funds (ETFs). These products are believed to have amplified market volatility during the 22% plunge in the benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) last month. This indicates that one of the largest market crashes in recent memory has barely dented retail investors' risk appetite, only shifting the type of products they pursue. The recent market correction appears to have created an attractive entry point for ELS products. These securities pay coupons to investors as long as their underlying stocks or indices stay within a pre-set range, but they can also face significant downside risks if the market drops sharply.
