Chairman of Alipay: Cryptocurrency, as a payment medium, has become one of the exploration paths for AI payments.

According to Caixin, Han Xinyi, CEO of Ant Group and Chairman of Alipay, delivered systematic insights on the global exploration path of AI-powered payments at the China Payment Clearing Forum. He noted that AI payments have basically formed four exploration paths: payment technology and infrastructure platforms represented by Stripe; crypto enterprises represented by Circle and Coinbase, which mainly rely on stablecoins and their wallet systems, use cryptocurrencies as payment media, and directly support automated machine-to-machine payment scenarios; traditional payment networks represented by the two major card organizations (Visa, Mastercard); and AI platform enterprises such as Google and OpenAI.
