Tim Cook's Farewell Letter: Few people know how to build world-changing products as well as Ternus.

Beating AI Express (Dongcha) — Tim Cook penned a farewell letter to all Apple employees on his final day as the company’s CEO. He clarified he will not leave Apple, only stepping down from the CEO post, and reaffirmed his strong support for successor John Ternus. Cook said few people truly grasp what it takes to build products that change the world, as Ternus does. He added he feels extremely confident entrusting the company to Ternus. Ternus will officially take over as Apple’s CEO on September 1, with Cook transitioning to Executive Chairman of the Board. Throughout the letter, Cook barely mentioned financial results. He attributed his success to Apple’s employees, noting that the things he is most proud of at the company “will never be reflected in annual reports.” Cook argued that what makes Apple truly special is its culture, where teams bring out the best in one another, enabling the company to continue fulfilling Steve Jobs’ vision of “making a dent in the universe.”

Robinhood CEO: Robinhood Banking's assets have topped $4 billion.

Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev stated in a post on X that Robinhood Banking’s assets have exceeded $4 billion, adding that this growth reflects users’ trust in Robinhood’s fund management. Tenev also noted that Robinhood is developing "Trump Accounts", which it aims to make the default tool for charitable donations in the U.S. Traditional charitable giving involves complex rules and regulations, requiring donors to evaluate charities, confirm that funds are used as advertised, and assess their efficiency. Trump Accounts allow donors to directly invest funds into investment accounts held by U.S. children, reducing intermediary steps in the donation process. Donors can clearly track their funds’ destination, children own the related assets, no fees are charged, and account assets grow long-term via compounding at market rates—a model expected to bring positive changes to U.S. philanthropy.
