Founder Richard Qian said that after the team spent about six months building Raft (formerly Slock), it once focused too much on growth and revenue. In the coming weeks, Botiverse will open-source multiple internal projects and release Raft’s main repository source code, but will not accept external Pull Requests (PRs) for now. RC (Richard Qian) noted that agents are taking on increasing development work, making the traditional open-source collaboration model—where external developers submit code and maintainers review and merge it—no longer applicable. Botiverse has already made several projects public on GitHub, including Raft’s documentation, external Agent plugins, and application scaffolding. The Raft main repository is the part it announced will be opened next.

According to official announcements, Base has launched a creator grant program offering up to $4,000 in funding to independent creators for producing high-quality content focused on the Base ecosystem and its developers. Eligible applicants include authors writing in-depth articles, analyses, posts, and memes about Base; live streamers, show hosts, creators running regular columns; independent video creators; and educators creating Base content in local languages. In addition to the maximum $4,000 grant, selected creators will gain access to ecosystem projects and developer resources for content ideation, plus promotion opportunities via Base’s official regional accounts. Furthermore, Base will offer a "Creator of the Week" award for emerging creators, with weekly grants of up to $500. Base noted that any creator who primarily creates content focused on Base, runs their own show, or works as an independent creator is eligible to apply for the program.
