Alibaba has unveiled a glasses version of Qoder, enabling users to activate AI agents simply by viewing error messages.

Beating AI News Brief: Alibaba has developed a glasses version of Qoder, with initial integration into Qwen AI Glasses and Leqi AI Glasses. The glasses serve as Qoder’s voice and visual interface, letting users assign tasks via voice; the agent can then continue execution on the cloud or a PC. The glasses handle real-time reception of new commands, progress updates, and user confirmation before critical operations. When viewing error pop-ups, device status, whiteboard sketches, or screen content, users can instruct the glasses to capture images directly. Qoder will recognize the visuals, then proceed to troubleshoot issues, modify code, or organize tasks. For points requiring user approval, the agent will proactively prompt, and users can continue by simply saying commands like "second option". The interaction moves beyond the turn-based pattern of traditional voice assistants: once in Qoder mode, users don’t need to repeatedly call the wake word, and they can interrupt the agent mid-speech to add requests. Code, spreadsheets, and long results won’t be fully displayed on the glasses’ lenses—only summaries are read aloud, while full content is sent to the user’s mobile device. Official documentation has released a complete installation guide for the Leqi version. The Qwen version is currently in targeted invitation testing, set to launch officially at the Yunqi Conference, and only supports Qoder CN accounts. The 2026 Yunqi Conference will be held from September 22 to 24.
