Beating AI News Flash, according to a report from Axios, an OpenAI spokesperson revealed that OpenAI President Greg Brockman is expected to announce an expansion of access to the company’s AI tools for critical infrastructure and public sector entities. The spokesperson noted that Brockman will make the announcement on Thursday at a cybersecurity summit hosted at OpenAI’s headquarters. Approximately 300 security executives and chief information security officers (CISOs) from Fortune 100 companies are set to attend the summit, which will focus on how enterprises, governments, and cybersecurity firms can deploy AI tools to defenders—including critical infrastructure organizations and public service agencies. This comes as OpenAI addresses security concerns surrounding its models, following the recent breach of Hugging Face, and the company’s upcoming Astra model has reached a "critical" level of cybersecurity capability.
