According to BIT (bit.com) market data, U.S. stock Tesla (TSLA) rose more than 5% at the start of trading. Tesla’s Cybercab launch event will be held in Austin, Texas, local time tonight, a key milestone for testing the company’s autonomous driving commercialization process. Morgan Stanley’s latest research report points out that this launch carries far more significance than any of Tesla’s previous product events; the large-scale expansion of its unsupervised Robotaxi fleet will directly determine Tesla’s stock price trajectory for the year. Data from the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) shows Tesla has recently registered around 45 Cybercabs for commercial operation, leading the bank to hold a positive outlook on tonight’s event. If Tesla successfully deploys 25 to 50 Cybercabs for paid passenger services in Texas within days to weeks after the event, its stock price is expected to react positively; conversely, if the event only features limited supervised retail demonstrations with no substantial unsupervised fleet deployment, the stock price is projected to pull back after the event.
