BeatSwap Hacked, Loses Approximately $77,512; Attacker Manipulates Uniswap V3 Spot Price to Drain BTX Tokens

According to Slow Mist monitoring, Web3 IP copyright platform BeatSwap was hacked, resulting in a loss of 2,984,557 BTX, worth approximately $77,512. The attacker borrowed 6,000,000 BTX via a flash loan and dumped it into the Uniswap V3 pool to lower the sqrtPriceX96. Exploiting a vulnerability in the LiquidityVestingConvert contract — which only uses the V3 spot price and lacks Time-Weighted Average Price (TWAP) and deviation limits — the attacker called the deposit() function twice (for 10,000 and 2,000 USDT) to manipulate prices, mint positions, and drain all BTX from the liquidity pool.

Analysis: After a short squeeze, Bitcoin’s profit-taking supply ratio has risen rapidly; historically, buying pressure from such events tends to fade quickly.

Crypto analyst @AxelAdlerJr says Bitcoin’s profitable supply ratio has climbed to 69%, with a 90-day increase of +41%, aligning with BTC’s current price of roughly $77,000 — a sign that the recent price rally has notably improved holders’ profit positions. @AxelAdlerJr stresses that much of the current buying comes from mechanical repricing after short squeezes, rather than continuous spot buying. Historically, this kind of sharp upward momentum often fades rapidly, making a pullback or sideways consolidation likely in the near term.
