Current funding rates on mainstream CEXs and DEXs show that the market's bearish momentum is easing.

According to data from Coinglass, after Bitcoin surged past $80,000 and entered a consolidation phase, funding rates on major centralized (CEX) and decentralized (DEX) exchanges indicate a weakening bearish sentiment in the market. Detailed funding rates are shown in the attached chart. BlockBeats Note: Funding rates are fees set by crypto trading platforms to maintain a balance between contract prices and their underlying asset prices, typically applicable to perpetual contracts. It is a fund exchange mechanism between long and short traders; trading platforms do not collect this fee. The funding rate adjusts the cost or return of holding a contract for traders, ensuring the contract price stays aligned with the underlying asset price. A funding rate of 0.01% is the benchmark. A rate above 0.01% signals broad bullish sentiment in the market, while a rate below 0.005% indicates widespread bearish sentiment.

Jiang Zhuoer: ZEC is clearly a "whale coin" and will not participate in trading.

Jiang Zhuoer, founder of ViaBTC, stated in a post that after ZEC dropped to $1,445, Garrett Jin—previously the agent of the so-called "BTC OG insider whale"—shorted ZEC, sparking market speculation that he was deliberately creating a counterparty to draw retail investors into going long. Now that the "target" (his massive spot holdings) has disappeared after he revealed his large spot positions, his roughly 200,000 ZEC holdings (accounting for ~1% of total supply) could become potential selling pressure, leading to the conclusion that this round of ZEC rally may be nearing its end. Facing such a whale-manipulated coin, given the information disadvantage against the counterparty, he will not participate in trading it.
