Zcash Treasury and crypto mining firm Cypherpunk Technologies (Nasdaq: CYPH) announced the appointment of Amanda Fabiano, chief operating officer of Nakamoto Inc., as a director. The bank forecasts total SSD demand will grow 45% in 2027, with QLC-based near-GPU storage seeing wider adoption, as AI systems increasingly require large, high-speed storage pools close to accelerators. Additionally, Citi expects NAND demand to grow 29% in 2027 and 33% in 2028, while supply growth will only hit 21% and 25% respectively, as storage manufacturers prioritize expanding DRAM and HBM production capacity.

Goldman Sachs recently released a research report stating that the bank held a series of investor meetings with Microsoft (MSFT.US) executives over the past two weeks. The firm noted that Microsoft has made several key AI decisions over the past three years, and these moves are now paying off as enterprises increasingly prioritize evaluating AI platform products. Goldman Sachs maintained its "Buy" rating on Microsoft in the report, identifying key areas for future value discovery as improvements to MAIA (Microsoft's self-developed AI chip) and MAI, plus the momentum of its enterprise platform in the market. Cosmos ecosystem liquidity protocol Astroport has tweeted that the attack incident on Neutron may have resulted in the theft of its contract administrator privileges. Neutron has suspended chain operations for investigation, and Astroport is advising users to withdraw liquidity from all its liquidity pools.
