According to official announcements from Kinetiq, the testnet of Elysium — the first Layer 2 (L2) network in the Hyperliquid ecosystem — has been launched. Elysium is a general-purpose, high-performance L2 network built exclusively for Hyperliquid, settling on HyperEVM, co-located with HyperCore, and uses HYPE as its native gas token. Currently, Elysium operates Conduit’s G2 sequencer on an architecture compliant with SOC II Type 2 standards.

Beating AI Express reports: Hugging Face announced that Jun Kim, creator and maintainer of oMLX, has joined the company to work full-time on developing oMLX and related MLX tools. oMLX is a local large language model (LLM) inference server built exclusively for Apple Silicon, enabling tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and OpenClaw to directly call models running on Macs. Previously a personal project maintained by Kim in his spare time, oMLX will now receive funding and full-time development support after Kim’s move to Hugging Face, but it will not be taken over. The code remains in its original repository under the Apache 2.0 license, with Kim continuing to lead the project. Hugging Face plans to use oMLX as a testing ground for new MLX capabilities: mature features will be contributed back to upstream projects like mlx-lm and mlx-vlm where possible, while accelerating adaptation of new Transformers models to MLX. In short, oMLX has evolved from a personal side project to a company-funded long-term initiative, while staying open-source and independent.

According to official announcements, oracle network Pyth Network has announced that it will act as an external distributor of Nasdaq’s Nasdaq Basic market data product, providing real-time U.S. stock market and trading data via the Pyth Data Marketplace. Nasdaq Basic covers securities listed on U.S. exchanges, offering best bid and ask prices, order quantities, latest trade prices and volumes, as well as Nasdaq’s official opening and closing prices. Pyth noted that this service is targeted at brokers, banks, fintech platforms, and blockchain-native applications.

According to HTX market data, PYTH surged over 8% in a short time amid positive news, now trading at $0.0689. Earlier, Pyth Network announced it has become an external data distributor for Nasdaq Basic, integrating Nasdaq’s real-time quotes and U.S. stock trading products into the Pyth data marketplace.

Gnosis Pay, the crypto payment platform in the Gnosis ecosystem, announced it will discontinue its proprietary debit card and web app services on December 20, 2026. Going forward, the web app will only retain fund withdrawal functionality, with no deadline set for user withdrawals. The company noted that it shifted its business focus from consumer debit cards to providing card issuing services for wallets, fintech firms, and digital banks back in 2025, and will primarily continue serving cardholders via partner applications moving forward. The new system will offer instant withdrawals, instant transaction reversals, as well as enhanced privacy and debit card management features.
